What is it?

Cold laser has been shown to be effective and approved by the FDA indicated use of relief of neck and shoulder pain due to musculoskeletal issues (FDA approval number:  K012580).  Clinical studies done by the laser manufacturer have shown effects to include improved metabolism, circulation and tissue healing.

With cold laser approval through the FDA approval, this technique is widely in use by the NFL and by the USPS tour de France team chiropractor for the benefit of the athletes.  Low Level Lasers are a sanctioned medical modality.

Cold laser treatment is a very popular therapy with our patients and although we do not bill this modality through insurance, that doesn’t stop the majority of our patients from requesting their laser treatment.
